Reports to: Senior Security Engineer (Pod 6 Tech Lead)
Experience: 7–10 years
Location: Bangalore / US (flexible)

ROLE OVERVIEW: The Governance Engineer builds the systems that make the platform's governance model operational rather than aspirational. Audit logs, approval workflows, policy-as-code frameworks, and compliance reporting are engineering deliverables that you own.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and build the platform audit log infrastructure — structured, immutable record of every agent invocation, tool call, context access
Build the approval workflow engine for tool invocations requiring human review
Implement the policy-as-code framework
Build compliance reporting tooling — dashboards and exports for CISO, risk, and corporate function leads
Partner with Senior Security Engineer on data classification enforcement model
Work with compliance engineer to translate regulatory requirements into governance system specifications

IDEAL PROFILE:
Has built audit logging, workflow, or policy enforcement systems in production has enough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements has strong software engineering fundamentals has designed workflow or state machine systems.
