We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable software solutions, working across both frontend and backend technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
With 5+ years of full stack development experience, design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Python/FastAPI on the backend, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across all user-facing features.
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch), drawing on 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience to own deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability and uptime.
Design and optimise PostgreSQL database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations as the product scales — including indexing strategies and query performance tuning, backed by proven experience in production database environments.
Lead end-to-end feature development from technical scoping and API design through to testing and production release, leveraging senior-level experience collaborating closely with product and design stakeholders.
Define and enforce engineering best practices across the team — including code review standards, branching strategies (Git), testing coverage requirements, and documentation norms, with a track record of doing so in a scaling startup or product environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Skills
Proficient in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including hooks, state management, and component architecture.
Strong Python programming skills with experience in Fast API or similar frameworks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, remote-friendly team environment.
Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on full stack development experience in a commercial environment.
Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
