IT Asset Manager / Software & IT Services Manager

FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES is a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international financial holding Freedom Finance. We develop and maintain trading and banking IT products, as well as the holding’s IT infrastructure worldwide.  

Our team currently consists of 170 professionals.  Over the past three years, we have grown fourfold and continue to actively expand our team.  

Since 2009, we have been developing our core product - a trading system for brokerage operations in the stock market.  

More than 700,000 users across 41 countries use our applications. 

We are looking for a proactive specialist to lead the Software Asset Management (SAM) function within our company. We need someone who can bring order to our software and service portfolio, eliminate unnecessary costs and subscriptions, and become a trusted partner for the business in selecting and implementing the right IT tools. 

What You'll Do 

Audit & Inventory Management 

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of all software and cloud services (SaaS) used across the company. 

• Create and maintain a single, up-to-date software inventory. 

Cost Optimization 

• Identify duplicate services, unused licenses, and unnecessary subscriptions. 

• Optimize software licensing costs. 

Business Collaboration 

• Gather requirements from different business departments, analyze their needs, and identify the most suitable software solutions to support business processes. 

Selection of Key Systems 

• Research, evaluate, and participate in the implementation of business-critical systems, including: 

• Project Management Systems (Jira, Asana, Monday, or equivalent). 

• Access Management Systems / Identity Providers (IdP) (Okta, Keycloak, JumpCloud, or equivalent). 

Software Lifecycle Management 

• Ensure timely software updates and license renewals. 

Onboarding / Offboarding Processes 

• Design, automate, and oversee processes for granting software access to new employees and promptly revoking all access upon employee departure. 

Requirements

Software Asset Management (SAM) Experience 

• Proven experience conducting software audits and maintaining software license and service inventories in organizations with 100+ employees. 

Business-Oriented Mindset 

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for software selection. 

Broad Knowledge of Enterprise Software 

• Strong understanding of the modern enterprise software landscape, including task management tools, CRM, ERP, HR platforms, collaboration tools, and IAM/IdP solutions. 

Analytical Mindset 

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data while taking a structured approach to cost optimization. 

Onboarding / Offboarding Experience 

• Experience designing or participating in employee onboarding and offboarding processes related to IT infrastructure. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with dedicated SAM/ITAM platforms (such as Jira Service Management, Snipe-IT, or equivalent). 

• Basic understanding of information security principles related to access management and permission matrices.
