Wispr is an AI research and product company building the voice interface for computing. AI can now reason, code, and act. Yet, humans still do the work of the interface. We think that’s backwards.

Our first products are Flow, which lets you speak naturally in any application, and Notetaker, which builds context across conversations. We’re building toward an interface that can perceive, understand, and take action with earned trust. That means solving hard problems across models, systems, and product - and caring about the final human experience as deeply as the technology underneath it.

About the role

Every customer brings different systems, security needs, and workflows. Forward Deployed Engineers partner with customer engineering, IT, security, and business teams to ship production-grade deployments. You’ll identify what is holding a team back, design the solution, and own it through launch and adoption.

What you’ll do

• Lead deployments from discovery through implementation, launch, and adoption

• Build and debug across APIs, integrations, identity, data, and customer environments

• Earn trust by communicating clearly and solving problems in real time

• Push back thoughtfully when a request will not produce the right outcome

• Turn recurring needs into product improvements, reusable integrations, and stronger playbooks

You may be a fit if

• You’ve shipped production software directly with customers

• You can work across the stack and go deep when systems behave unexpectedly

• You communicate clearly across technical and business audiences

• You stay composed when requirements are incomplete or timelines are tight

• You take ownership through delivery and adoption

Prior experience in voice, machine learning, or specific customer technology stacks is not required.
