Financial CoordinatorJob Description
Financial Coordinators oversee the day to day financial operations of their area and coordinate the project and workload with the other financial coordinators. Assists with revenue cycle management, maintains and compiles provider compensation/reports, initiates capital budget requests, collaborates with the coding coordinator, serves as a liaison for managed care contracts for their area, and serves as the primary financial contact for the division. Assists the Vice President of division with various projects, as assigned.

Responsibilities
Acts as the primary financial contact for their area and disseminates information as appropriate., Analyzes monthly variance between actual results and budget, and makes recommendations as appropriate., Assists Directors with preparation of capital budget requests for clinics., Assists in managing the revenue cycle process for their area providers and clinics., Assists in the oversight of provider compensation. Ensures accuracy of provider compensation statements and bonus calculations., Assists with new provider contracts and monitors renewal dates for current providers., Assists with the completion of pro-forma analysis for potential product/service lines for their area., Delivers meaningful financial information to employed providers and administrative leaders in a timely and consistent manner., Develops solutions that optimize financial outcomes of provider practices., Leads efforts toward improvement of the financial performance of their area through improved revenue and potential cost reduction strategies., Maintains dashboard for the clinics and providers and works to improve our data analytics and visuals within the division., Monitors productivity standards for clinic locations., Oversees leases and lease arrangements for their area., Oversees the other financial coordinators and assigns the projects and workload to each of them., Oversees the preparation of annual operating budgets for all practices., Serves as a liaison for their area with Managed care contracts, including Illinois Health Connect., Works closely with the Coding Coordinator to ensure that medical coding is timely and accurate.Requirements
