Fiction Writer

The Good and the Beautiful is looking for a qualified, motivated individual to help write stories as we grow our bookshop.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Write fiction books and book series for children in grades 4-8 or for high school aged children through young adults/adults. This position helps maintain a positive morale among the team and throughout the Company. This position will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Functions

1. Write fiction books for The Good and the Beautiful bookshop.
2. Incorporate feedback when provided to ensure quality writing, appropriate pacing, and high interest level in writing.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports. 

Work Environment

This position works in a home office setting.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Expected hours: 15- 29 hours per week.

Hours not to exceed 29 hours per week. Monday through Saturday.
