DevOps Engineer

Kiratech is seeking skilled DevOps, with the capabilities to work in a team, within an agile framework.

Our DevOps plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our applications and infrastructure. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us improve our automation, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Signoz, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
• Experience with managed cloud-native container services like Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS/Fargate, or GCP Cloud Run.
• Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Your day-to-day tasks will mainly include, but not limited to:

• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and processes required for the successful deployment and operation of our applications.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, scale, and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health of our applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application and infrastructure performance.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for our applications and infrastructure.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and rollback procedures for our applications and infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24x7 availability of our applications and infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and upgrades to improve our DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide assistance with internal or external IT support, including Microsoft O365 management and other necessary requests.
