Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and clients to design and develop innovative learning materials that align with our organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and update learning solutions in the ID Team Capability Suite to ensure they are engaging, effective, and aligned with learning objectives.

  • Instructional Design: Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create various types of content, such as eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, simulations, gamified activities and assessments.

  • Multimedia Development and Visual Design: Develop and produce multimedia content, including graphics, videos, animations, and interactive elements to enhance the learning experience and is consistent with company branding and WCAG compliance.

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Develop and implement assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements based on learner feedback.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and clients to ensure accurate and relevant content.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360 suite).

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

  • Project management skills and very high attention to detail.

  • Multimedia, Video Editing and graphic design skills are preferred (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).

  • Certification in instructional design (e.g. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) is a plus.

  • Experience in roleplay or tools simulations using AI is a plus.
