About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-based data platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, ADLS Gen2, Python, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.
Build scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Work with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing and data processing.
Develop data transformation and modelling workflows using dbt.
Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions.
Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) for scalable data storage.
Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers following modern lakehouse architecture.
Develop optimized SQL queries and perform performance tuning.
Use Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
Implement automated data quality checks, validation, and pipeline testing.
Design and maintain data models and schemas for reporting and analytics.
Follow data governance, security, metadata management, and data quality practices.
Collaborate with BI, analytics, and business teams to understand data requirements.
Work with remote/offshore engineering teams and provide technical guidance when required.
Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
Hands-on expertise in dbt
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Experience with Microsoft Fabric – Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows
Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)
Strong Python skills
Advanced SQL

Data Modelling & Schema Design
Data Quality & Validation Frameworks
Git / Version Control
Understanding of CI/CD fundamentals
Good understanding of modern cloud data engineering architecture

Experience working with distributed/offshore teams
