Description

Make the right work happen at the right time.

Patient paperwork is more than paperwork—it supports compliance, protects the medical record, and helps care teams stay focused on patients. As our Corporate Workflow & Records Coordinator, you will own the follow-through that keeps approved hospice election addendums moving across multiple agencies: prepared accurately, delivered on time, signed or properly documented, and filed where they belong.

This is a full-time, remote, non-clinical role for a highly organized professional who enjoys closing open loops, managing deadlines, and making complex workflows feel simple.

Position at a glance

  • Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Full-time, regular business hours
  • Location: Remote, with occasional travel to the corporate office in Sandy, Utah
  • Reports to: Vice President of Clinical Services

What you’ll own

  • Coordinate the hospice election addendum process across all agencies.
  • Prepare approved addendums using designated systems and plain-language templates.
  • Track delivery, signatures, deadlines, exceptions, and medical-record filing.
  • Follow up on pending items and escalate missing, conflicting, delayed, or overdue information.
  • Maintain accurate workflow trackers, spreadsheets, reports, and electronic records.
  • Assist the ADR and Medical Review team with chart assembly and ADR tracking and follow-up.
  • Communicate recurring issues and process concerns to leadership.
  • Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA, privacy, security, and records-management requirements.

Requirements

You’ll be a strong fit if you are

  • Organized, dependable, detail-focused, and excellent at follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines across departments and locations.
  • A clear and professional communicator who knows when to escalate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel or similar tracking tools.
  • Comfortable learning electronic medical records and document-management systems.
  • Experienced in healthcare administration, hospice, home health, medical records, compliance support, or centralized operations—or bring highly transferable workflow-coordination experience.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education in healthcare administration, business administration, medical records, or a related field is preferred. MatrixCare, Link, EMR/EHR, or document-management experience is a plus.

Non-clinical by design

You will coordinate approved information—not make clinical decisions. This role does not determine clinical relatedness or coverage status, override a Clinical Director’s decision, or create a clinical rationale. Questions and exceptions are escalated to the appropriate leader.

Remote-work requirements

You must have reliable high-speed internet, a private and appropriate workspace, and the ability to work regular business hours while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient paperwork and protected health information.

The Perks

Eligible full-time employees receive comprehensive health and wellness benefit options, paid time off, and discounts on auto, home and pet insurance, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
