Location: Work remotely from anywhere in Australia

Employment type: Casual  

Remuneration: Sessional rates will apply based on qualification (PhD or non-PhD).

College of Business and Law 

The College of Business and Law is one of the largest business schools in the Asia-Pacific region, offering programs from certificates to PhD level across Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Shanghai, Jakarta, OUA and RMIT Online. The College employs more than 1,000 staff and supports approximately 30,000 students.

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about online learning and can bring contemporary industry knowledge, academic expertise and engaging teaching practices to one or more of the following disciplines: 

 

School of Management 

The School of Management is a diverse community of scholars who embrace multiple perspectives on organisations, management and work, with strengths in translating research into real-world application. 

The School aims to improve public policy, organisational practice and working life through inclusive and responsible leadership, management, employment, innovation and entrepreneurial practices. 

The School currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs known for their practicality, industry relevance and flexible delivery in the following areas: 

  • Digital Transformation and Leadership 

  • Human Resource Management and People Analytics

  • Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy

  • International Business and/or International Business with digitisation expertise

  • Management and Organisations 

 

Accounting, Information Systems, and Supply Chain 

The School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain offers innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programs across accounting, financial planning and taxation, supply chain and logistics, and technology. The School is known for cross-disciplinary collaboration, industry connections and research aligned to changing industry needs. 

The school currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs known for their practicality, industry relevance and flexible delivery in the following areas: 

  • Cyber security 

  • Business Analytics

  • Information Systems

  • AI 

  • Supply Chains 

  • International Logistics

  • Business Decision Making 

 

Marketing Discipline 

The Marketing Discipline focuses on solving real-world problems through strategy, industry partnerships and contemporary marketing education. Courses span foundational marketing principles through to emerging technologies, including a pioneering focus on marketing technology, data and AI. 

The Marketing Department is actively seeking skilled and qualified tutors to deliver its online Undergraduate and Postgraduate product offerings. For our Marketing courses these areas include but are not limited to: 

  • Strategic marketing

  • Marketing communications

  • Consumer behaviour

  • Customer experience design

  • Marketing strategy

  • Marketing analytics

  • Brand strategy

  • Product innovation and development and

  • Sustainable marketing 

Experience delivering applied, industry-engaged marketing education through online platforms is highly desirable. 

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated expertise in a relevant business discipline, supported by postgraduate qualifications and/or significant industry experience.

  • A passion for online learning and creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences

  • Experience teaching, training, facilitating or mentoring in higher education, vocational, professional or workplace learning environments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse student cohorts

  • Confidence using digital learning technologies and online teaching platforms

  • A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student success 

 

To be eligible for this role, you must have valid working rights in Australia and be based in Australia.
