About the Role
As Emerald Clinical Trials continues to expand across Europe, we are building a pipeline of experienced Clinical Project Managers to support future growth and upcoming study awards.
This is a pipelining opportunity. While this position may not represent an immediate opening, we are proactively identifying exceptional talent for anticipated projects. Candidates who apply may experience a delay in hiring updates while studies progress through award and start-up phases.
This is a home-based role within Europe, providing the opportunity to lead global and regional clinical trials across a range of therapeutic areas, with particular interest in candidates who bring experience within renal, oncology, cardiometabolic & autoimmune diseases.
Your Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for assigned clinical projects from start-up through close-out.
Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, forecasts, and project plans.
Lead study teams to ensure delivery against quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Identify risks proactively and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Oversee site activation, enrolment performance, monitoring activities, and study execution.
Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, applicable regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.
Manage project finances and vendor performance.
Support proposal development, business development activities, and bid defense meetings.
Mentor and support Clinical Trial Managers, CRAs, and other project team members.
About You
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
Approximately 7+ years of clinical research experience.
Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within a CRO environment.
Previous experience managing global or regional studies.
Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven experience with project budgets and financial oversight.
Excellent working knowledge of ICH-GCP and European regulatory requirements.
Experience in renal/nephrology clinical trials is highly preferred.
Experience across Phase I-IV clinical trials is advantageous.
