Position Summary

The Sales Development Associate will help grow KEH's Strategic Partnerships by identifying potential partners, conducting outbound outreach, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings with enterprise retailers, OEMs, and other strategic organizations.

The role focuses on building a strong partnership pipeline while also supporting existing partner relationships after launch by serving as a point of contact and assisting with ongoing collaboration.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-building, proactive prospecting, and working closely with senior leadership to drive long-term business growth.


Core Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective strategic partners across priority industries.
  • Research enterprise retailers, manufacturers, marketplaces, rental companies, OEMs, and other potential strategic partners.
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop targeted account engagement plans.
  • Build prospect lists using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, company websites, and other research tools.
  • Execute personalized multi-channel outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and phone.
  • Maintain consistent outreach cadences and accurate CRM records.
  • Track outreach activity, engagement, and response metrics.
  • Deliver well-qualified partnership opportunities to the VP of Strategic Partnerships.

Meeting Generation & Opportunity Qualification

  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities through discovery conversations.
  • Secure introductory and exploratory meetings with target partners.
  • Coordinate scheduling across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare concise account summaries and research briefs prior to partner meetings.

Partnership Support & Account Management

  • Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Partnerships to support existing strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for select partner accounts.
  • Coordinate internal resources to resolve operational needs and partner inquiries.
  • Support post-launch partnership activities to ensure successful implementation and ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor partnership performance and assist with recurring business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen partner relationships and expand collaboration.

Success Metrics

  • Qualified meetings booked per month.
  • Meeting-to-opportunity conversion rate.
  • Outreach activity, engagement, and response rates.
  • Pipeline value generated.
  • CRM accuracy, hygiene, and prospect engagement quality.
  • Partner satisfaction and responsiveness following partnership launch.
  • Retention and growth of assigned partnership accounts through proactive relationship management.

Ideal Profile

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound B2B sales.
  • Demonstrated success in generating qualified meetings through outbound prospecting.
  • Experience researching enterprise organizations and identifying decision-makers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client or partner relationships with a customer-first mindset and exceptional follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into retail, consumer electronics, manufacturing, or technology companies.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools.
  • Experience supporting account management, customer success, or partnership operations after implementation.
  • Interest in photography, consumer electronics, sustainability, or the circular economy.

  • Compensation: Hourly (rate based on experience)
  • Location & Travel: This is a remote position. Limited travel (approximately 5–10%) may be required for team meetings, partner meetings, or industry events.
