As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients, consultants, and technical teams. You’ll help shape the direction of data and AI initiatives by gathering requirements, analysing processes, and supporting solution design. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, processes, and challenges.
- Elicit and document clear, actionable requirements for data, analytics, or AI/ML solutions.
- Analyse business workflows and systems to identify improvement opportunities and gaps.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
- Support product backlog creation, sprint planning, and acceptance testing.
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment throughout delivery.
- Contribute to solution design, user stories, and service documentation.
- Support change management and adoption planning for delivered solutions.
- Help ensure data and AI projects deliver measurable value and are user-focused.
Essential:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role within technology or consultancy.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and tools (e.g., process mapping, user stories, requirements gathering).
- Experience working with data, analytics, or software development teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organised, curious, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
Desirable:
- Exposure to AI, data science, or machine learning projects.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience working in a consultancy, agency, or multi-client environment.
- Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, or Power BI.
- Awareness of data governance, data quality, or data platform concepts.
