Automation Tester

What you’ll do?

• Lead and manage testing team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans tailored to P&C insurance applications.
• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the client's development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
• Design/update/execute automated test scripts to validate the user stories and ensure adequate test coverage
• Work with the automated regression team to make sure scripts are updated in the common automation repository
• Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in functional testing and P&C insurance.       

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ADO or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
