ART Director

An international iGaming company with a strong presence in the market for many years and headquartered in Europe continues to grow and expand its global footprint. As part of our ongoing business development and the launch of new projects, we are opening a large-scale recruitment campaign across multiple teams. The company develops high-quality slot games and innovative gaming solutions enjoyed by players worldwide, and we are looking for talented professionals to join us on our exciting growth journey.

We are currently looking for an Art Director who will play a key role in shaping the visual direction of our games, leading creative initiatives, and inspiring a team of talented artists to deliver outstanding gaming experiences for a global audience.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the artistic vision, visual style, and creative direction for slot game projects.
• Develop creative concepts, mood boards, storyboards, and art direction guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Game Designers to ensure visual design supports gameplay mechanics, game features, and overall player engagement.
• Translate game concepts and design documentation into compelling visual experiences.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2D Artists and Animators, providing regular feedback, support, and creative guidance.
• Oversee the production of 2D assets and animations, ensuring high-quality execution and consistency across projects.
• Review and approve artwork and animations to maintain visual excellence and brand standards.
• Work cross-functionally with Game Designers, Developers, and other stakeholders to align artistic vision with product goals and technical requirements.
• Optimize creative workflows and establish efficient production pipelines.
• Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in game art and design.
• Explore, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance creative production and team efficiency.
• Ensure all visual deliverables are optimized for performance while maintaining artistic quality.
• Support marketing initiatives by overseeing the creation of promotional and advertising assets.
• Maintain high visual standards and ensure the final product is engaging, polished, and appealing to the target audience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a professional Artist, Art Lead, or Art Director within the Gaming or iGaming industry.
• Deep knowledge of the iGaming industry, including current market trends, visual styles, and player preferences.
• Strong passion for gaming and a solid understanding of industry developments and emerging trends.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage creative teams.
• Excellent creative, artistic, and visual design skills, combined with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Experience working with animation tools such as Adobe After Effects, Spine, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including composition, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with and managing external vendors and outsource studios.
• Successful experience implementing AI tools and workflows into creative production pipelines.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality artwork, visual direction, and animation projects.
• Fluent Russian language skills (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of slot game industry trends, mechanics, and regulatory requirements will be considered a strong advantage.
