Required skills for this job include:
- Build and maintain software applications for our customers
- Expert-level React development for modern, responsive web applications
- Strong Python development experience building APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled applications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AI services and AI Search
- Experience with Git and modern source control workflows
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of secure, scalable application architecture and modern software engineering best practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Expertise overseeing the performance of applications to ensure they run properly
- Knowledge of implementing solutions to security vulnerabilities
- Teammate collaboration to ensure applications align with customer needs
- Help foster a culture of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking
- Active Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
- Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen

Desired skills for this position:
- Certification in application development
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (including infrastructure and deployment automation)
- Experience with Bicep/ARM or Terraform (if applicable)
- Experience deploying AI-enabled applications in Azure
- Ability to work with new technologies while demonstrating drive, adaptability, and creative thinking
- Strong communication skills
