About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is recruiting an AI Video Creator to join a London-based DTC skincare and haircare brand that sells botanical body oils, shower oils and hair growth kits directly to a customer base of 500,000+ worldwide. You will generate AI video assets for the brand's Meta and TikTok ads: UGC-style talking-head clips, product scenes, b-roll and full concept videos, built in Higgsfield from briefs, references, and hooks and scripts you help develop. You will work alongside the Creative Strategists and a team of video editors who cut and launch what you generate, in a role that is about 80% independent work with regular check-ins and mostly written communication. Success looks like a steady weekly flow of usable, on-brief AI assets and variations, with a growing share of them ending up in the ads that win. This is one of five AI Video Creator seats being filled for the same team, alongside five video editors. No filming or on-camera work is involved, and if editing is your core craft and AI generation the side skill, the team's Performance Video Editor listing is the better fit. The role is remote, with the option to work from the team's office in Islamabad, Pakistan, on the same UK hours.
What You'll Do
- Generate AI video assets for Meta and TikTok ads in Higgsfield and the models it runs (Veo, Kling, Sora, Runway and similar): UGC-style talking-head clips, product scenes, b-roll and full concept videos.
- Write, test and refine prompts, reference images and settings until the output matches the brief and the brand, and keep a library of prompts and workflows that work.
- Develop hooks, scripts and concepts for AI-generated ads with the Creative Strategists, and turn them into scroll-stopping opening seconds and testable variations.
- Produce multiple variations of winning concepts, with new hooks, scenes, characters and settings, so the team can test at speed.
- Keep characters, products and the brand look consistent across everything you generate.
- Quality-check every asset before handoff: no warped hands or labels, readable text, believable motion, the real product looking like itself, and nothing that could pass as a real customer testimonial without the label the platform or the brand requires.
- Hand off clean, organised, correctly sized outputs to the editing team through Google Drive and Frame.io (or similar).
- Shape the performance creative strategy behind your assets: study winning ads, propose angles, hooks and formats that suit AI generation, and feed test results into the next batch.
- Stay current as the models change, test new tools and features, and bring what works to the team.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years in creative or video production, including hands-on AI video generation you can show: a reel of AI-generated videos, ideally ads, that you made yourself and can walk us through clip by clip, including the tools, references, settings and how many generations it took.
- Hands-on AI video generation in Higgsfield or in the models it runs (Veo, Kling, Sora, Runway). Higgsfield experience is a plus; if your workflow lives elsewhere, you will need to move it onto Higgsfield quickly.
- Strong prompting instincts: you iterate quickly, know each model's strengths and failure modes, and can hit a brief rather than just make something that looks cool.
- An eye for what makes an ad work: hooks, product proof, offers, and the difference between an AI clip that reads as real and one that reads as fake.
- Creativity and problem-solving as your defining strengths, with a thoughtful and methodical way of working. Comfortable working mostly on your own, with communication mainly in writing over Slack and email.
- High-level spoken and written English.
- This is a full-time, exclusive role: no other clients or freelance work alongside it.
- Bonus points for: video editing in Premiere Pro or CapCut and motion graphics in After Effects, so you can trim, sequence or polish an output before handoff; AI image tools (Nano Banana, Midjourney, Flux) for keyframes and storyboards; AI voice tools such as ElevenLabs for UGC-style voiceover; and beauty, skincare or other visually driven DTC experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will complete a short assessment.
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Creative testing velocity: consistently deliver the agreed number of usable AI-generated assets and variations each week, on brief and ready for the editors. The exact weekly volume is set after onboarding based on the team's asset needs.
- Hook and thumb-stop rate: the share of viewers still watching after the first three seconds on ads built from your assets, measured alongside the Strategist.
- Creative win rate: the percentage of launched assets that meet the team's "winner" benchmark. You are accountable for execution quality and the volume of testable variations; performance is a shared outcome.
- Speed and reliability: meet agreed turnaround times, flag blockers early, complete revision rounds quickly, and keep files organised and correctly named.
- 30/60/90-day milestones:
- First 30 days: learn the brand, creative standards, the team's approved AI workflows, asset library and feedback process. Deliver initial assets reliably and show you can hit a brief with the tools.
- By 60 days: work independently across briefs with consistent turnaround, low revision rates and a growing prompt and workflow library. Produce variations at volume, not one-offs, and bring angles and references to the Strategist.
- By 90 days: operate at full agreed output as a trusted source of handoff-ready assets, with a measurable share contributing to winning or scalable tests, and a repeatable process the rest of the team can use.
What You Get
- Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location.
- A remote role on UK hours with a London-based brand that ships worldwide, with the option of a desk in the Islamabad office if you prefer working on-site.
- A largely independent role (about 80% solo work) with regularly scheduled check-ins and a team of editors and strategists around your output.
- A seat on a new ten-person video team (five AI Video Creators alongside five editors) inside a brand that tests creative at volume, with room to grow as the models do.
