Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with 8+ years of hands-on development experience and 3+ years of team leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires technical leadership, solution design, cloud-native development, stakeholder management, and end-to-end ownership of software delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience leading development teams.
• Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor development teams.
• Drive technical design and architecture discussions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance.

Application Development

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
• Develop cloud-native applications on GCP.
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy and manage applications using GCP services.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD implementations and release automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure and deployment strategies.

Project Delivery

• Participate in requirement analysis and solution design.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Business Teams.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical issues.
• Deliver high-quality solutions within project timelines.

Agile Execution

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Story Estimation, Grooming, and Retrospectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure quality and timely sprint deliveries.
