Saint Joseph’s University’s Department of Teaching, Learning, & Behavioral Studies has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis courses each semester in our synchronous online program. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis is essential. Professionals with experience in teaching online courses in higher education will be given preference. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance to students
Instruct an assigned course, providing syllabi and other instructional materials
Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
Report grades at midterm and final times.
Providing student learning outcomes data when asked.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Preferred
ABD or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field
Physical and Other Requirements
May require standing for long periods of time
May require talking for long periods of time
May require carrying course materials
