This founding role combines Technical Project Management and Quality Assurance to design how AI-operated systems execute work and ensure system correctness under real-world conditions. Responsibilities span ensuring correct execution flow, validating system behavior, and designing AI agents to scale validation and execution.
The engineer will help shape the Unity architecture, design spatial persistence systems, and build multi-user spatial interaction capabilities for context-aware AI quests. They will also integrate AI-assisted development workflows and define the platform's long-term technical direction.
The engineer will be responsible for designing and building the distributed systems layer powering the platform, focusing on real-time coordination for large user bases and managing distributed world state for artifacts, quests, and identities. This includes developing APIs for developer participation and orchestrating multiple AI agents within the system architecture.
