Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (AZ Certified)

Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity
1:1 sessions will take place during the school day (9 AM to 3 PM MST)
119 days of service, 5 hours daily; Case load: 6-7 students
$150-$175 daily rate. Rates are negotiable and subject to change
Valid Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification is required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind educator, you will:

• Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
• Track student grades and performance
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active, Arizona state Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
