TSS is poised to revolutionize the data center industry with innovative cooling solutions. We specialize in Liquid Cooling Technologies that enhance performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of data centers all while supporting the enablement of next generation computing applications. For this role, reporting to the Business Development Director, we are seeking a  Technical Marketing Specialist who will be primary technical interface to our customers and partners supporting the adoption efforts in the Americas region, in particular USA. Working closely with the regional Business Development Manager, this high visibility role bridges customer technical needs, product capabilities, and commercialization efforts to accelerate adoption of next-generation cooling technologies. 

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, along with a proven knowledge of the thermal systems used in the sector of the Data Centers. 

 

This position can be located in Newark, Delaware or remote in the USA with preference to the West Coast or Texas areas. 

 

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers alongside the regional Business Development Manager 

  • Engage with ecosystem partners (OEMs, integrators, labs) to enable system integration and adoption 

  • Translate customer requirements into tailored liquid cooling solutions and system specifications  

  • Lead application development, field trials, and validation of liquid cooling technologies 

  • Analyze performance data and deliver technical insights and recommendations 

  • Develop technical content with the support of the marketing and communication teams (case studies, white papers, competitive insights) 

  • Contribute to market intelligence, competitive analysis, and technology positioning 

  • Provide input to new product development and technology roadmap based on customer feedback and market needs 

  • Represent the company in technical forums, conferences, and industry collaborations  

 

The following is required for this role: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, Chemistry, or related field  

  • 5–10 years of experience in:  

  • Data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, HVAC, or thermal management 

  • Technical service, application engineering, or technical marketing roles 

  • Strong understanding of:  

  • Data center cooling architectures (air, liquid, immersion, DTC) 

  • Heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and system integration 

  • Proven ability to work independently, cross-functionally and customer-facing  

  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate technical details into business value 

  • Ability to travel across the region and outside the region, 30% to 50% of the time. 

 

The following is preferred for this role: 

  • Experience with two-phase cooling systems (direct-to-chip and immersion)  

  • Familiarity with Hyperscalers and OEM ecosystem  

  • Experience working in high-growth or emerging technology markets  

  • Participation in industry organizations (OCP, ASHRAE, etc.)

$110,544.00 - $172,725.00

Annual Bonus Target:

11%

Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
