Job Title: Solution Advisor Senior Specialist

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Solution Advisor Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive customer success and revenue growth by aligning SAP solutions with customer needs, fostering early engagement, and delivering impactful experiences that maximize customer value and ensure high renewal rates.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Engage customers early in the sales cycle, matching needs to SAP solutions, and advising account teams on opportunities based on success probabilities and strategic account positions. Responsible for sales presentations and product demonstrations pre-sales and post-sales. Deliver, help develop, and maintain standard product demonstrations and materials to secure business and increase revenue. Develop and deliver compelling stories and demonstrations that illustrate differentiated business outcomes, utilizing standard messaging and digital assets throughout the customer journey. Collaborate with customers and partners to co-create an agreed-upon SAP vision, aligning messaging and gaining customer trust. Ensure world-class customer experiences in critical segments, driving adoption and consumption to maximize customer value. Continuously explore and communicate the added value of SAP solutions to each account, supporting the process of value expansion and increased revenue. 

 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

  • Presentation skills including client-facing events and support;
  • Sales Experience including sales of solutions for customer development;
  • Software and Integration Development;
  • Project Management within IT industry; and
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to attend executive meetings, presentations, and speaking engagements.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $140,462 - $183,260. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $154,000 - $261,800. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
