Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. You will work with cross-functional teams across geographies and play a key role in large-scale transformation projects using tools like NZDT (Near Zero Downtime). The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust SAP ABAP solutions.
Plan, design, develop, and deliver high-quality code using ABAP, ABAP OO, Fiori/UI5, Public cloud and related SAP technologies.
Engage in system upgrades and transformation projects with a focus on performance, stability, and business continuity.
Perform unit, functional, and integration testing using industry-standard tools and best practices.
Collaborate with development teams, as well as customers and various internal stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring top-notch solution delivery.
Contribute as a full-stack developer where needed and stay up to date with the latest SAP advancements.
Participate in agile development processes, including SCRUM ceremonies and sprint planning.
Drive quality assurance across deliverables by conducting peer code reviews and adhering to best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or MCA from reputed institutions.
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including OOPs ABAP and FIORI/UI5 and Public cloud.
Strong expertise in:
Reports, RFCs, IDOCs, BAPIs, BDC
Web Services, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits
Smart Forms, Adobe Forms
Workflows, OData Services, CDS Views
ABAP on HANA
Public Cloud
Proficient in reading, understanding, and reviewing complex codebases.
Experience in SNOTE handling and system update/upgrade activities is a plus.
Exposure to agile methodologies (SCRUM) is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to quality delivery.
