Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. You will work with cross-functional teams across geographies and play a key role in large-scale transformation projects using tools like NZDT (Near Zero Downtime). The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust SAP ABAP solutions.
- Plan, design, develop, and deliver high-quality code using ABAP, ABAP OO, Fiori/UI5, Public cloud and related SAP technologies.
- Engage in system upgrades and transformation projects with a focus on performance, stability, and business continuity.
- Perform unit, functional, and integration testing using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams, as well as customers and various internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring top-notch solution delivery.
- Contribute as a full-stack developer where needed and stay up to date with the latest SAP advancements.
- Participate in agile development processes, including SCRUM ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Drive quality assurance across deliverables by conducting peer code reviews and adhering to best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or MCA from reputed institutions.
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including OOPs ABAP and FIORI/UI5 and Public cloud.
- Strong expertise in:
- Reports, RFCs, IDOCs, BAPIs, BDC
- Web Services, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits
- Smart Forms, Adobe Forms
- Workflows, OData Services, CDS Views
- ABAP on HANA
- Public Cloud
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and reviewing complex codebases.
- Experience in SNOTE handling and system update/upgrade activities is a plus.
- Exposure to agile methodologies (SCRUM) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to quality delivery.
