Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Operations Manager to lead and oversee production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing workflow, production efficiency, team leadership, scheduling, and ensuring on-time delivery across multiple departments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production operations, team management, and process improvement within a manufacturing or production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across multiple departments
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and production priorities
- Coordinate with sales, project management, pre-press, and installation teams
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Lead and mentor production supervisors and staff
- Monitor employee performance, productivity, and quality
- Support hiring, training, and HR coordination
- Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency initiatives
- Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Report operational performance to senior leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations or production management experience
- Experience in manufacturing, print production, signage, tradeshow, or related industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience managing production schedules and workflow systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in print/graphics, large-format production, or manufacturing operations
- Experience managing large teams and multi-department operations
- Strong background in process improvement and operational scaling
Work Environment
Fast-paced production facility operating extended hours (7 AM – 7 PM, 7 days/week). Role requires active presence on production floor and coordination with multiple operational teams.
