Briljent is hiring a Senior Learning Consultant to support the planning, development, and delivery of learning and training activities for a large-scale technology implementation. This position will work closely with organizational change, project, and training teams to develop effective learning strategies and ensure training is consistent, engaging, and aligned with new business processes and technology.

The Senior Learning Consultant will be responsible for developing training plans, schedules, course outlines, learning materials, and course content, as well as coordinating and facilitating training in both remote and in-person environments. This role will provide senior-level guidance on learning approaches, evaluate training effectiveness, and recommend improvements based on feedback, lessons learned, and project needs.

Work Arrangement: Primarily remote, with travel to Wisconsin required as the project ramps up and in-person training needs increase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive learning and training plans, schedules, course outlines, and training materials.
  • Lead the design and development of software training and learning content for both remote and in-person delivery.
  • Develop training content based on system design documentation, business requirements, business processes, and new technology functionality.
  • Facilitate training sessions to support the implementation, adoption, and effective use of new technologies and business processes.
  • Provide senior-level learning and training expertise throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with organizational change, project, and training teams to ensure consistent learning strategies, approaches, and materials.
  • Coordinate learning activities across multiple audiences, stakeholder groups, and project phases.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and project stakeholders to identify learning needs and ensure training content accurately reflects system functionality and business processes.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, lessons learned, and other measures, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with planning and executing learning activities for large-scale, complex technology implementations.
  • Ensure learning materials, course content, and delivery methods are standardized, accessible, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations regarding learning methodologies, instructional approaches, and training delivery strategies.
  • Identify potential training risks, gaps, and dependencies and work with project teams to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Support the development of a cohesive learning experience that promotes user readiness, adoption, and successful transition to new systems and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience directing or leading remote and in-person software training activities for a large, complex automated systems development or technology implementation project.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Child Support Programs and automated Child Support systems.
  • 5+ years of experience developing training plans, course outlines, and training materials based on system design documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting training classes to support the implementation of new business processes and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience providing learning and training leadership for complex technology implementations.
  • In-depth understanding of Child Support Program objectives and processes, including areas such as:
    • Case initiation
    • Locate
    • Establishment
    • Case management
    • Enforcement
    • Financial management
    • State disbursement operations
    • Data analytics and reporting
    • Customer service
    • Federal rules and regulations
    • Automated systems and software requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Training, instructional design, or learning certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale government or enterprise system implementations.
  • Experience designing and developing learning programs for complex business applications.
  • Experience working within organizational change management or user adoption initiatives.
  • Strong communication, organization, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, provide strategic recommendations, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional project teams.
