Ciklum is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Senior iOS Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team. Our mission is to help people save money on the prescription drugs they need to live healthier lives and make healthcare more accessible and affordable.

As a Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications and features that support key user journeys across our digital products. In this role, you will be involved in the design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement of new and existing mobile functionality. You will also collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and platform engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be able to quickly turn ideas into polished, production-ready mobile experiences in a fast-paced and friendly environment. You should also be comfortable learning new technologies as needed and applying engineering best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new features from the scratch up while working closely with design, product, and other developments' teams
  • Collaborate with the mobile apps team to design clean, reusable, and resilient high-level architectures
  • Write unit tests for new features, and improve coverage for existing ones
  • Update and maintain continuous integration tools
  • Maintain existing code by fixing bugs and monitoring app performance
  • Create and participate in code reviews
  • Participate in architecture design and decisions on how to scale our apps

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of iOS development experience, including a strong familiarity with Apple frameworks and object-oriented design best practices
  • Experience with standard Apple tools such as latest Xcode with AI tooling, building UI with SwiftUI, Concurrency, etc
  • Good understanding of OOPS concepts, including networking, security, storage management, multi-threading, and application life-cycle management
  • Latest Swift/SwiftUI concepts
  • Proficient in debugging and performance tuning
  • Experience communicating with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with managing Apple development tools and iTunes Connect
  • Ability to integrate 3rd party SDKs and APIs

Desirable:

  • Building network layer using GraphQ
  • Familiarity with common 3rd party libraries (such as Alamofire, Segment, Firebase, Google Ads, etc)
  • Experience with observability and monitoring (Fabric, Crashlytics, Embrace, NewRelic, Datadog, Sentry, etc.)
  • Understanding of functional reactive programming
  • Experience integrating Swift with Objective-C code
  • Ability to maintain code that supports older versions of iOS
  • Knowledge of the Apple Push Notification System
  • Experience with Fastlane automation tools and Bitrise
  • Experience building reusable and shareable iOS components
