We are looking for a Senior Android Developer:

👥 Customer Description:

The customer is a global mobility and urban services platform providing transportation and related digital services.

🧩 Project Description:

Product delivery team responsible for development and maintenance of the user-facing geo capabilities and real-time location tracking services.

💡 Hard Skills / Must Have:

• 4+ years of commercial Android application development experience.

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android APIs.

• Experience working with design systems and component libraries in Jetpack Compose.

• Experience with offline storage and modern concurrency.

• Proficiency with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with performance tuning, including memory, battery, UI, and network optimization, and network debugging.

• Understanding of Clean Architecture and architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVI.

• Hands-on experience with Android location services, maps, geofencing, real-time location tracking, and location-based features.

• Experience integrating map SDKs and routing, vehicle, or other Geo/location data services.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and code quality tools.

• Ability to write maintainable and testable code with strong unit test coverage.

• Understanding of backend-service principles and API design.

• Solid knowledge of Google Play developer policies and the full mobile delivery lifecycle.

• Git proficiency.

• Experience with design collaboration tools.

• Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve development and testing workflows.

📌 Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features from implementation to release.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature design, architecture, and online experiments.

• Develop Geo-specific features including pickup/drop-off, vehicle availability, routes, fixed points, and live tracking.

• Build solutions using MVI/Redux, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.

• Develop Jetpack Compose UI using established design systems and component libraries.

• Integrate real-time location, maps, geofencing, APIs, map SDKs, and route/vehicle data.

• Implement feature flags and A/B experiments for safe rollouts.

• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues across memory, UI, battery, and network layers.

• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with Backend and QA to prevent regressions.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools to support build, testing, release, and app health.
