Key Responsibilities
- Real-Time Interpretation: Facilitate clear, accurate, and impartial consecutive interpretation between English and your designated target language (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean) via phone (OPI) or video (VRI).
- Tone & Accuracy: Maintain the original tone, context, and meaning of the speaker without summarizing, omitting, or adding information.
- Professionalism: Uphold professional standards, confidentiality (HIPAA/data privacy), and strict ethical guidelines at all times.
- Customer Care: Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and cultural sensitivity during all customer and client interactions.
Requirements & Profile Needed
- Languages: Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, OR Korean paired with advanced English (C1 level minimum).
- Experience: No prior interpretation experience required—this is an entry-level position open to candidates with strong language skills!
- Availability: Immediate availability to start onboarding.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work rotational shifts aligned with PST or EST business hours on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.
