Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain database systems to ensure their reliability and performance.
• Monitor database performance and implement enhancements as necessary.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Backup and restore databases to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to support database-related queries and issues.
• Document database processes and provide training to staff on best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud database solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of database security protocols.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Certifications in database management or related fields.
