As a Product Design Intern, you'll help shape the user experience of Rocket's innovative digital products. You'll gain hands-on experience in the product design process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help define the future of financial services technology.

 

About the Role 

  • Generate ideas and concepts through sketching, wireframing, and prototyping

  • Work with our research team to understand customer needs and pain points

  • Translate insights and feedback into intuitive and visually appealing designs

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring to life

  • Advocate for user-centered design principles

About You

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong visual design and UI/UX skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate design decisions and rationale

  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated ability to support the iterative design process from end-to-end, including wire-framing, prototyping, user testing and high-fidelity visuals

  • Experience with user research and usability testing

  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies

  • Understanding of front-end development and technical constraints

  • Experience contributing to the design of products in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
