The Portfolio Manager will have global responsibility for the commercial performance, strategy, and lifecycle of the Fire and Lifeboat portfolio. The Role:
As Portfolio Manager, you will have global responsibility for the commercial performance, strategy and lifecycle of Survitec’s Fire and Lifeboat portfolio.
You will define where and how the portfolio grows, combining market and customer insight with product, service pricing and channel strategy. Working across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Technical Sales, Service and Operations, you will translate market opportunities into clear portfolio priorities and commercially successfully propositions.
Key responsibilities for the Portfolio Manager include but are not limited to:
· Define the end-to end strategy across products, services and rental offerings, in respective portfolio area, aligned to Survitec’s growth objectives. Sets positioning and value propositions (4 P’s; Product, Price, Place/Channels, Promotion)
· Own the full lifecycle from concept through to introduction, growth, maturity and decline. Manages end-of-life decisions with minimal customer disruption. Monitors portfolio lifecycle and tracks revenue, margin, mix, service attach rate and other performance metrics for the offering.
· Set pricing strategy and guardrail to balance margin, competitiveness and compliance; monitor price realisation and margin leakage root causes. Ensure maintenance of price lists and conducts annual price reviews. Design and optimise offering propositions.
· Conduct customer, market and competitive research (offerings, pricing, go-to-market) identify differentiation opportunities. Run voice-of-customer programs, feeds insights into PLM.
· Review and evaluate all CDF (new offering or variant requests)- with Engineering. Ensure compliance to NPD process of stage gate reviews in portfolio category, securing sufficient commercial support & evidence for each development.
· Support development of sales enablement and knowledge-sharing tools working closely with Technical Sales & Support to ensure usability and adoption. Prepares and participates in Portfolio Review Meetings. Provides executive updates and prepares materials for Portfolio Board reviews.

About You:
Essential criteria:
· Proven experience taking products to market- strong ownership of go-to-market strategy, including launch planning and commercial enablement
· Experience managing a portfolio spanning equipment and aftermarket services, with an understanding of service agreements, contractual and recurring revenue, and installed-base growth
· Senior-level product management capability, with confidence operating in a complex, evolving environments
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to communicate and present clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable criteria:
· Experience within the maritime industry or related domain (Fire Systems/Service)
