Medical Expert Witness MD- Vaccine Injury

Saratoga Medical is hiring a Medical Expert Witness (MD/DO) for a Remote opportunity supporting the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP).

Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Expert Witness (MD/DO) to provide medical-expert services in support of the VICP and CICP. This is an on-demand contract opportunity with no fixed weekly schedule. Please see the qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered.

Performance Work Statement (PWS) / Scope:

• The contractor shall provide medical-expert services and medical reviewer/case management support for the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) and Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP).
• Work includes preparing written case reviews, providing expert testimony, and supporting legal and medical evaluation efforts under the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
• Work is performed on-demand based on case assignments through Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
• Workload and hours vary according to HRSA/DOJ litigation case requirements.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. or equivalent foreign institution.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Board certification in declared specialty/subspecialty.
• Must pass NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) query with no adverse actions.
• If in clinical practice, must be currently active or have left practice no more than five (5) years ago.
• If in research, must be currently active or have left research no more than five (5) years ago.
• Current academic appointment with a U.S. medical school (MD or DO granting), in good standing.
• Affiliation with a U.S. academic medical center.
• Expertise, clinical or research, in one or more of the following: Allergy, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Immunology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Rheumatology, and other clinical subspecialties as required by case need.
• Published Subject Matter Expert in the field of interest, with peer-reviewed research and/or academic teaching experience.

Work Location:

• Primarily remote/telework.
• If in-person testimony is required, testimony may occur at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., or other designated federal venues.

Period of Performance:

• August 25, 2025 – August 24, 2026.
