Project description:

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer with PolicyCenter and BillingCenter experience to join international projects in the insurance domain. You will work with global teams delivering modern solutions based on the Guidewire platform, supporting digital transformation initiatives and large-scale insurance transformation programs.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development and configuration of Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter)

  • Designing and implementing new functionalities within the Guidewire ecosystem

  • Custom development using Gosu

  • Supporting integrations between Guidewire and other enterprise systems

  • Participation in system architecture and technical design discussions

  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions and implementations

  • Supporting system configuration, testing and deployment activities

  • Collaborating with business analysts, architects, QA engineers and project managers

  • Supporting modernization and digitalization of insurance processes

  • Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues in production and development environments

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience with Guidewire platform

  • Strong hands-on experience with PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter

  • Good knowledge of Gosu programming language

  • Understanding of insurance business processes (policy lifecycle, billing, underwriting etc.)

  • Experience in software development and system configuration within Guidewire

  • Experience with system integrations and APIs

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Understanding of enterprise systems and financial / insurance data flows

  • Experience working in Agile or project-based environments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams

  • Good communication and articulation skills

  • English B2

  • German B2

Nice to have

  • Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter

  • Experience with data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Familiarity with ERP environments such as SAP or Dynamics

  • Experience with finance or accounting-related processes in insurance

  • Experience in consulting or client-facing project environments

  • Knowledge of Guidewire integrations and cloud solutions

  • Experience working with large datasets or mass data analysis

  • Ability to support process improvement and digitalization initiative
