Freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist (Mechanical Engineer) | Global Projects | Hourly Rate

About the role

Work on real Civil BIM projects focused on site development, utilities, grading, and infrastructure design. You’ll develop and coordinate BIM models using Revit, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, review project documentation for constructability, identify clashes, and help deliver high-quality solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree.

• 3+ years of experience in Civil BIM modeling.

• Experience with site development, grading, sitework, utilities, or heavy civil projects.

• Experience with wet utilities (water, sewer, storm) and/or dry utilities.

• Strong Revit skills (required).

• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and design documentation.

• Experience identifying and resolving clashes during BIM coordination.

• Experience working in multidisciplinary BIM teams.

• Upper-intermediate English or higher. Daily communication in English is required.

• Immediate availability.

• Own computer/laptop.

Nice to Have

• Civil 3D experience, including pipe networks.

• Navisworks experience.

• ArcGIS experience.

• Experience with ACC, BIM 360, shared models, or collaborative BIM environments.

• Experience on large infrastructure projects.

• Experience working on US-based projects.

• Experience with LOD 300-350 development.
