Encompass Administrator

This is a remote position.

Fast-growing national mortgage lender needs an Encompass Administrator to own and optimize its loan origination system. Company has grown through multiple mergers and acquisitions, leaving the Encompass environment heavily customized and layered with legacy configuration. This role cleans that up — streamlining workflows, tightening screens/processes, and improving speed and reliability for underwriting, processing, and disclosure teams.

What they'll own:

• Administer/configure Encompass: business rules, personas, input forms, workflows, screen/field config
  
• Audit and clean up legacy configuration from multiple M&A integrations — remove redundant/conflicting setup
  
• Partner with underwriting, processing, disclosure teams to cut friction and reduce clicks in daily workflows
  
• Manage user administration (roles, permissions, personas) as org grows via acquisition
  
• Support/expand Encompass API and integration work as platform capabilities roll out
  
• Troubleshoot system issues; document root causes and fixes
  
• Partner with internal dev/IT on LOS-touching projects, including data migrations from acquired companies' legacy systems
  
• Stay current on Encompass releases/best practices; recommend adoption where it drives efficiency
  

Requirements

Required:

• Hands-on Encompass (ICE Mortgage Technology) admin experience in production — non-negotiable
  
• Deep familiarity with business rules, personas, input forms, workflow config
  
• Understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle (origination → processing → underwriting → disclosures → closing)
  
• Experience cleaning up a complex, heavily-customized Encompass environment, ideally M&A-shaped
  
• Strong troubleshooting/documentation skills; comfortable as the escalation point for end users
  
• Able to work independently, fully remote; clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

Nice to have:

• Encompass API/Developer Connect or other integration tooling experience
  
• Exposure to other major LOS/mortgage tech platforms
  
• Background at a lender that grew through M&A, integrating acquired teams' processes
  
• ICE Mortgage Technology / Encompass certifications
