Position Overview: 

The eCommerce Content Specialist is responsible for executing, optimizing, and maintaining product content across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other online marketplaces. This role supports high-volume client accounts through new item setup, catalog maintenance, content development, marketplace troubleshooting, and product detail page optimization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, understands marketplace catalog structure, and is highly proficient in Excel. This person should be comfortable working with large amounts of product data, identifying and resolving catalog issues, writing customer-focused copy, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure content is accurate, optimized, and launched on time. This is a highly tactical role focused on execution, accuracy, organization, and speed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete new item setup and product catalog updates across ecommerce marketplaces
  • Create and optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, and attributes
  • Manage product variations, images, videos, and enhanced content
  • Maintain accurate product data using Excel, flat files, and marketplace templates
  • Open and manage cases in Vendor Central, Seller Central, and Brand Registry
  • Troubleshoot listing errors, suppressions, variation issues, and content conflicts
  • Audit product detail pages and identify opportunities for content improvement
  • Coordinate with designers, account managers, clients, and internal teams on content needs
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients to clarify needs, share updates, and resolve issues
  • Track project progress, missing information, and marketplace updates
  • Support social content scheduling and publishing as needed

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • At least 2 years of Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central experience
  • Experience with new item setup, catalog maintenance, and marketplace flat files
  • Strong product copywriting and Amazon SEO knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filters, and data validation
  • Experience managing product variations and resolving catalog issues
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clients and internal teams

Preferred Experience: 

  • Walmart, Target, Shopify, or other marketplace experience
  • Experience using Asana or similar project management tools
  • Amazon A+ Content, Brand Stories, and Brand Stores
  • Helium 10 or other keyword research tools
  • Social media scheduling and publishing
  • Adobe Creative Suite, or AI content tools

This is a remote full-time position with the ability to work from anywhere in the US.

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies & experience, and location.
