CutOver Manager

The Cutover Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities required to transition solutions, systems, or services into production. The role ensures a controlled and successful go-live with minimal business disruption, clear accountability, and effective risk management.

What you'll do:

• Develop and manage the Cutover Strategy, Plan, and Runbook.
• Coordinate cutover activities across business, application, infrastructure, DevOps, QA, operations, data, and vendor teams.
• Define readiness criteria and ensure all prerequisites are completed before go-live.
• Lead cutover planning, readiness reviews, and Go/No-Go decision meetings.
• Manage deployment, data migration, validation, and business verification activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and business impacts.
• Coordinate rollback, contingency, and recovery plans with technical teams.
• Monitor cutover execution, track progress, and escalate critical issues.
• Communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders throughout the cutover lifecycle.
• Support Hypercare/Early Life Support and conduct post-cutover reviews.
  
  

Who are you:

• Proven experience in Cutover Management, Release Management, or large-scale production deployments.
• Strong stakeholder management, planning, and coordination skills.
• Solid technical background with prior hands-on experience as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Platform Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms, application deployments, integrations, and operational support.
  
  

Key Deliverables: Cutover Strategy, Cutover Plan/Runbook, Readiness Checklist, Go/No-Go Criteria, Communication Plan, Rollback Plan, Status Reports, and Post-Cutover Review.
