What this Job Entails:
The Senior Compensation Manager must have a strong background in implementation and project management, who thrives in a fast paced, matrixed environment, requiring creativity, influencing and collaboration. The Senior Compensation Manager must be someone comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment. This is a hands-on role managing all compensation programs and processes and will work closely with departmental and cross-functional business partners to ensure enterprise-wide alignment with compensation philosophies, all aspects of pay, and incentive plans.
Scope:
Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates.
Reviews objectives of other managers to determine operational success.
Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, implement, and administer company-wide compensation programs, policies, and procedures and monitor compliance.
Apply deep business knowledge to evolve and develop compensation programs that inform long-term business decisions and priorities.
Lead compensation program implementation, change management and measurement of program success.
Drive results by tracking key operational metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities and delivering on strategic initiatives.
Initiate programs and policies to protect and improve the quality of compensation data, manage the gathering and documentation of technical requirements and processes.
Manage and oversee the bonus plan process and executive compensation.
Evaluate jobs, benchmarks, and review job offers for internal and external equity.
Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze salary information to determine the company's competitive positions.
Ensure company compliance with existing legal employment requirements.
Supervise and manage the compensation team as it relates to all projects.
Establish performance requirements, clarify responsibilities of those supervised, conduct performance appraisals and plans for individual employee improvement.
Manage activities of two or more sections or departments.
Exercise supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
Ability to present clearly and concisely
Knowledge and of compensation administration and design
Analytical skills and detail orientation
Experience designing and executing large scale compensation program changes
Ability to travel both internationally and domestically

Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must be able to use a computer
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
