Job Description – DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, GitHub, and Harness. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and application deployments, ensuring scalability, security, and automation across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Kubernetes & EKS Management
- Setup, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS (EKS).
- Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in EKS.
- Implement cluster upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Automate builds and deployments using GitHub Actions/Atmos and Harness pipelines.
- Ensure reproducible, compliant infrastructure deployments.
- CI/CD & Application Deployment
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure code.
- Integrate automated testing, security scans, and deployment approvals.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline application delivery.
- Cloud & OS Administration
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers in hybrid environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for system health.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail).
- Expertise in Kubernetes cluster setup, scaling, and management.
- Proficiency in Terraform for IaC, with GitHub and Harness for automation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes).
- Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance, and audit‑ready documentation.
