The Opportunity

Lesley University's department of Counseling and Psychology is seeking a highly qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CPSYC 3413 Psychology of Women; Fall Semester II 2026; Asynchronous, Remote.

Course Description:

This course introduces the theoretical foundations in which the study of the psychology of women is grounded. Sexism in the development of psychological and psychoanalytic theory; the diagnosis and treatment of women's psychopathology; and women's mental health are examined in depth. Psychosocial issues including gender differences, patterns of love and work, and lifespan development are also explored as they affect the psychological lives of women.

Qualifications and Capabilitie s

Master's degree in psychology or associated field (PhD preferred)
Successful teaching at a university level (undergraduate teaching success preferred)
Online teaching experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
