I am an experienced Software Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, building and running backend systems in enterprise environments. I have extensive experience modernizing existing code-bases, re-designing APIs, introducing cleaner architecture patterns, and debugging performance issues in such environments. For most of my career I have worked as a consultant that is embedded in customers’ teams, assisting them in improving their software and processes and delivering features to their users. I am now looking for a position in a company where I can be a long-term contributor to a product, where I can go deeper into a single domain and continue to grow as an engineer. Technically I am strongest in Java and Scala, but I am comfortable with multiple languages, stacks and paradigms. My deep knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure lets me build software with the reality of running in production in mind from the start.
