We are seeking a customer-focused, highly motivated Workplace Relations Manager to join our Corporate Workforce Solutions team. The position reports to the Director of WR Investigations and will be responsible for conducting internal investigations, independent reviews, and environmental pulses. Key responsibilities include: intakes with Reporters, collecting and evaluating documentation and other evidence, interviewing witnesses and Subjects, summarizing findings and debriefing investigative results. Additionally, the WR Manager will work collaboratively with the team to continually improve processes and work on related projects. The WR Manager will also assist legal in gathering information and drafting responses to external claims. Primary Responsibilities Conduct internal investigations/independent reviews, and/or environmental pulses. Conduct effective interviews utilizing investigative techniques. Summarize investigative findings in a comprehensive, concise format. Coordinate with other functional investigators on multi-function cases. Support special projects for Workforce Solutions to ensure continual improvement with procedures and communication. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5+ years of progressive HR experience. Required skills include: Strong interpersonal, as well as oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate and relate to diverse constituencies. Proven track record of partnering with legal, line management and HR leaders. Knowledge of federal and state laws employment laws and government regulations, as well as interpretation and administration of policies and procedures. Flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure. Ability to earn the confidence and trust of others, deliver on commitments, demonstrate high standards of ethical conduct, and protect confidential information. Experience with the process of investigating and the resolution of workplace relations cases; exposure to external claims (i.e. EEOC, litigation, mediation, arbitration, etc.). Must be able to work independently but also collaborate well with team when necessary. Able to interpret data to identify trends and areas of risk. Ability to use diplomacy and tact in confrontational situations. Excellent conflict resolution and negotiations skills. Strong planning and organization skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Desired skills: Additional years of experience in Human Resources or Industrial Relations. Professional certifications/designations such as PHR or SPHR.
