Website Designer - CMS Specialist

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Website Builder to join our growing team at UENI. In this role, you’ll be crafting websites for small business clients — not on our proprietary platform, but directly on third-party builders like Wix.

If you're passionate about design, love helping businesses look great online, and have experience with CMS platforms like Wix, WordPress, or Shopify, we’d love to hear from you.

🎯 Important: Prior Wix experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We’re more interested in your ability to learn fast, work with CMS tools, and build visually appealing, user-friendly websites.

Only candidates based in Central/South America will be considered for this position.

Full-time position, five days a week. One of those days will be either Saturday or Sunday. Working hours: flexible, but generally within office hours in your local time zone

🛠 Responsibilities

• Build and publish websites for small businesses using platforms like Wix, based on customer needs and preferences

• Work closely with internal teams to interpret customer input and deliver beautiful, functional sites

• Adapt templates and customize content, layout, design, and interactivity

• Apply good design principles to create engaging, conversion-friendly user experiences

• Balance speed and quality to meet tight turnarounds while maintaining strong attention to detail
  

💡 What We’re Looking For

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong design instincts and experience with branding, layout, and web aesthetics

• Familiarity with Wix, WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms

• Great eye for detail, typography, spacing, color, and user journey

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work across various industries and business types

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• English (C1/C2 level or Advanced)

• Written content creation experience with SEO knowledge

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS

Knowledge of JavaScript basics is a plus

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; degree in Marketing, Web Design, UI/UX, or similar is a plus

• Portfolio or examples of past work (even personal projects) highly encouraged

• Experience with small business or eCommerce clients is a plus
