Description: Our client is currently seeking a W2-Network Engineer IV- -REMOTE w 10% travel
W2 opportunity -Network Engineer II - 2 positions

Position Title: Network Engineer IV

Required Skills: network build, design, and implementation, Routers/switches, configuring firewalls

Nice to have: Cienna/Juniper stack

Location: REMOTE w 10% travel to (Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston) Does not have to sit in those markets but must be willing to travel

Interview Process: 2 rounds (first with HM, second with team)

Interview Timeline: ASAP

Duration: EOY and ongoing, would love to convert if possible

Project: Deb works within the 5g deployment team, and they currently have Xfinity mobile deployed on Verizon 5g network, so this team at Client is building an offload network to ensure data comes back onto client system versus to Verizon as a partner. This team is all data driven, no voice product or services on team.

• They deploy the network by -> going into markets for each division (Northeast division first as a trial) -> deploying equipment into the head ends that support the from front and back haul of 5G data -> Responsible for all transport (everything from head end to the radio to the demarcation point at the radio site) So backend of that is also routing into the core where it talks to the backend systems, provisioning systems

Ideal Candidate:

• Will be performing and scheduling network upgrades, performing fault detection, and performing root-cause analysis with vendors if something is found
• Should have 5+ years of experience and be relatively senior
• Should be able to speak to how a network should be built or designed - understand basics of subnetting a network
• Should understand - IP requests, requesting IP addresses within subnetting a network
• Deploying equipment into head ends supporting front haul and back haul of 5G networks
• Responsible for all network transport from "head end" of the network to the radio to the demarcation point at the radio side to the backend systems and provisioning systems on the "back end"
