Job Description

The Role

Equal parts "thinker" and "do-er", this role serves as a key leader responsible for the introduction of Company's Workforce Management solutions to the North American market, specifically the US. This is a high-profile job responsible for playing a key role in one of the most important commercial strategies for the company.

The entry to the US market is at an early stage. This role will be responsible for creating and driving the operational and commercial infrastructure to establish a highly successful, scalable and sustainable Workforce Management business in the US as well as ongoing responsibilities for aspects of that business once it is fully established.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Product Management team to provide input on, and deliver, a detailed, tactical market analysis and competitive landscape of the US Workforce Management market and deliver this analysis to all key stakeholders, including the Executive Team. This includes identifying key competitors, offerings/segments served, lifecycle of customer contracts, and commercial openings in the market caused by product/service issues and/or forced migration to new platforms.
  • Partner with key leaders in product, solutions, sales and other functions to determine a detailed initial market entry plan, followed by a scalable go-to-market plan
  • Partner with key leaders and other stakeholders to lead the execution of the initial market entry plan, refine plans based on in-market learnings and shape the final go-to-market entry plan accordingly
  • In partnership with executive sponsors, prepare detailed, regular updates to the Executive Team with detailed activity tracker, key findings/learnings and other insights to shape this important growth engine for the organization.
  • Leverage and build on existing in-market relationships with key hospital, health system and other healthcare delivery organization stakeholders to continuously drive the refinement and growth of the Company US Workforce Management business.
  • Develop senior-level key strategic relationships with healthcare providers in the United States
  • Play a key role in pre-sales activity with early adopters in the US market, supporting the deployment of the product and managing key relationships alongside other Company senior leaders
  • Once the US Workforce Management business progresses towards business as usual and increasing maturity, continue to build relationships, support sales activity in the US market and partner with Product to identify key product needs/roadmap opportunities.

Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years of US Healthcare IT experience, with 10+ years in the workforce management space at hospitals/health systems, key market-leading vendors or other relevant organizations that would qualify as "subject matter expert" level knowledge of this market
  • Direct go-to-market or GTM "partner/support" experience in workforce management, with a deep understanding of the various market offerings, segments, gaps and openings to help shape/execute an efficient market entry plan.Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to develop and execute on business development plans and initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to establish and cultivate executive level relationships
  • Proven experience partnering across multiple functions (e.g. product, marketing, sales) to execute against targets and achieve KPIs
  • Ability to see the big picture while also maintaining high attention to detail and willingness to "role up your sleeves' to get things done.
