We are looking for a dynamic design leader to spearhead a modern design transformation across multiple enterprise software products within Veeam. You will drive the design and user experience strategy, evolve a design system, and foster a customer-centric culture to modernize our product suite and improve usability. We need a strategic leader who can also be hands-on when necessary, executing rapid, iterative UX improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Your tasks will include:

  • Lead Design Strategy: Define and drive the overall design vision and UX strategy across all products, aligning design objectives with business goals and customer needs.
  • User-Centric Transformation: Champion a culture of design thinking, user research, and prototyping to ensure product decisions are guided by user insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other teams to incorporate design early in product development and create a shared vision.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-impact design and research team. Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that empowers designers to innovate and grow.
  • Design System Implementation: Drive the evolution of a modern, scalable design system for consistency, efficiency, and a cohesive user experience across the entire product portfolio.
  • UX Quality & Innovation: Measure and evolve the user experience to ensure product usability and delight, identifying opportunities to streamline complex workflows and enhance visual design.
  • Bias for Action: Inspire a rapid iteration mindset within the design team, producing prototypes and gathering feedback quickly to drive continuous improvement and impact on the broader company.
  • Hands-On Execution: Step in as a “player-coach” when needed, contributing directly to key design initiatives while mentoring team members.

What we expect from you:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, including 5+ years in a leadership role (Director level or above).
  • Proven success leading the design of enterprise B2B software or SaaS products.
  • Experience building and implementing a unified design system.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
  • History of building and effectively managing a distributed or remote design team, effectively coordinating across geographies and time zones.
  • Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools, preferably Figma.

Will be an advantage

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, data protection, or related enterprise IT domains.
  • Experience in turnaround or high-growth environments, with an ability to champion organizational change.
  • Familiarity with data-driven design approaches, using analytics and metrics to guide design decisions.

We offer:

  • Unlimited PTO
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits that start on day one
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Life insurance and short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Family planning support benefits, along with 100% paid maternity and parental leave
  • 401k match
  • Veeam Care Days – additional 24 hours for your volunteering activities
  • Professional training and education, including courses and workshops, internal meetups, and unlimited access to our online learning platforms (Percipio, Athena, O’Reilly) and mentoring through our MentorLab program.
