Summary
Spark is hiring a VP of Product to lead our overall product strategy and execution. We’re seeking a proven leader with substantial experience managing high-performing product teams and overseeing impactful products in regulated industries (health tech, insurtech, fintech, etc.…). The ideal candidate is excited to operate as a player-coach in a fast-growing environment while defining the strategy for how Spark will continue to be at the forefront of Medication distribution's evolution.
This role reports directly to the co-founder and COO and will join the leadership team to ensure product and tech investments align with Spark’s long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategic vision and roadmap for Spark’s platform and communicate it effectively to the broader team, customers and investors.
- Balance leadership with hands-on execution by acting as a player-coach depending on the needs of the business.
- Lead and grow a high-performing Product and Design team, including establishing new roles and defining new product domains with the VP of Engineering
- Ensure Spark’s product strategy drives customer adoption, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Develop deep market and customer expertise by spending meaningful time with prospects, customers, and carrier partners.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and Account Management to ensure we are sharing a compelling and consistent message about our product and investment areas.
- Collaborate with Success to identify investment areas that can drive meaningful operational efficiency and ensure coordinated launches with our Customer Experience teams.
- Work with Engineering leadership to ensure we maintain a fast and iterative product development process.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Extensive experience in product leadership at a scaling B2B SaaS company, ideally in a regulated industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing high-performing product teams (PMs and ideally Designers).
- Strong ability to balance strategy and tactical execution – able to think long-term while launching impactful investments today.
- Deep understanding of cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Engineering, Success, Marketing, and Sales.
- Bias towards data-driven decision-making, with experience using product metrics to drive adoption and engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
