Employees enjoy excellent benefits (health/vision/dental coverage, 401k with contribution matching, equity, etc.) as well as perks like monthly credits for at-home food delivery, internet/mobile phone service coverage, fitness expenses, and Caregiver support.About the Role:The VP, Investor Relations will play a critical role overseeing investor relations and managing investor communication for TrueCar, as well as partnering cross-functionally to identify and solve complex problems and assess the financial impact of key decisions throughout the organization that drive shareholder value. The VP, Investor Relations will report to the Chief Financial Officer.What You'll Do:Be a valuable sounding board to Company leadership and provide experienced insight and perspective as it relates to managing communications with investors and analystsLead, in coordination with senior executives, cross-functional preparation of quarterly earnings calls, board meetings, annual shareholder meetings, and other investor meetingsThought partner to the CFO and senior leadership on defining company vision, and strategy for delivering shareholder valueActively contribute to and manage engagements with external advisors including investment banks and management consulting firmsServe as the point-person for all investor materials, including: presentations, marketing materials, conference presentations, and other documentsWork closely with equity surveillance firm to monitor and understand stock movements and composition of shareholder registerManage communication with the Board of Directors and provide regular IR updatesSeek out opportunities that serve to enhance the visibility of the company and its senior executivesCoordinate scheduling of investor meetings, conference calls, and conferencesCoordinate closely with legal around annual shareholder meetingManage special projects, as assignedWhat You'll Need:Adept at building and maintaining credibility with internal senior leaders and external financial community through sound emotional judgement bolstered by diplomacy and discretionSubstantial experience in managing investor relations in a publicly-traded companyProven track record with building trust and long-term relationships within the investment communityStrong knowledge of equity and debt capital markets, corporate finance and financial planning and analysis (FP)Effectively synthesizes and communicates complex business, strategic and financial information in written form, orally and in presentationsAbility to manage numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentAbility to personally create impactful presentations in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.Self-directed, rolls up the sleeves, and overcomes obstaclesSets, pursues and follows-through with achieving goals with a sense of urgencyCollaborative attitude and desire to contribute outside primary areas of responsibilityConducts all interactions with the highest standards of professionalism, maturity, and polishAbout TrueCar:TrueCar is a leading automotive digital marketplace that enables car buyers to connect to our nationwide network of Certified Dealers.
